Yankee Ford
This project consisted of over 34,000 s.f. of an existing and extremely outdated car dealership in South Portland, Maine. We were tasked with working with a major car brand and their desire to update their franchisee’s image nationally. ALPHAarchitects responded by bringing a tired brick veneered structure into the 21st century by implementing contemporary detailing, lighting, and finishes throughout this extensive renovation. One of our major challenges was to coordinate the remodel with the ownership and contracting teams so that the dealership could remain a functioning business throughout the year long renovation process. The success of this project lead to another new ground up dealership upstate for the same ownership group.
